A misty morning on the west coast of Oregon, looking up toward Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Filtered light, clinging mist, lighthouse with its precise and lyrical dimensions rising tall from foundations buried deep in thick, lush grass and fantastic wildflowers. This glory I had to paint, to share with others.
